 - It’s not often addressed in mainstream news, but whether or not we see nuclear war, the future of our existence is most likely to be radioactive doom. And while the disaster at Fukushima has made some headlines in recent years, the world’s radiation problem is far worse than what is being acknowledged.

According to the Nuclear Energy Institute, there are close to 500 nuclear reactors on planet earth, and the number continues to grow. Accompanying these sites is are the requisite nuclear waste dumps, which also include dumps for weapons and other military testing.

Spent fuel rods, of the kind used in nuclear power plants like Fukushima, have a half-life of 220,000 to 15.7 million years, meaning there all of the fuel rods being used today will far outlive the human race in radioactivity.

 - The Bentwaters incident is a classic case where an apparent intrusion into our airspace and indeed a landing in our country was witnessed by serious minded people in the military, responsible people doing a responsible job.

There are only two explanations for what happened that night…The first is that what the people concerned…they claimed that something from outside the Earth’s atmosphere landed at their Air Force base, they went and stood by it, they inspected it, they photographed it, the following day they took tests on the ground where it had been and found radioactive traces.

The quote above comes from Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, Former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal Navy, and Chairman of the NATO military committee regarding what’s known as the Bentwaters incident. It’s an incident that took place in Rendlesham Forest, and remains a very important event and one of the most controversial UFO cases ever – because it’s supported by military testimony as well as military documentation. The area houses nuclear weapons, a fact that was denied for years by authorities, but then admitted to be true.

Radioactive - It has been a year since my annual nuclear experimentation article. Time flies. My scale of time of course is ignorant. I cannot comprehend the complexity of time unfolding as it does, beyond my limited human imagination, and my ignorance of the ways of time is not unlike your own. And perhaps it is not unlike the ignorance of the nuclear goons of yesteryear, whose shortsighted planning for the nuclear waste ‘storage’ failed to take into account the life of nuclear radiation in human generations much less the millions of years that nuclear waste actually remains deadly.

Some people posit that one generation is roughly twenty years. So, about three generations ago the first nuclear waste was created and then buried, for future generations to deal with.

This month, as we begin Year 71 of the global nuclear experiment, the impermanence of the United States crumbling nuclear infrastructure is becoming blatantly apparent.
