Worldwide Didgeridoo Meditation – Solstice

21 December 2012

– The next Worldwide Didgeridoo Meditation will be happening on the 21 December 2012 at your local sunset time. This will be the biggest didgeridoo circle yet.

Just imagine, together we will send the earthy voice of the didj right around the planet!

And what a timely message it will be, on the day the Mayan calendar kicks over to a new era, lets all start that with a blast!

If you are already registered, this is simply a reminder to please play your didj on the 21st December 2012 at your local sunset time for 45 minutes and then sit in silence for 15 minutes, meditating on humanity caring for the land, looking after this incredibly beautiful planet.

The Summer Solstice (or Winter solstice for all those of you on the northern half of this beautiful planet) is fast approaching.

Which means it is time to prepare for our next global didj wave and invite some friends to share the experience (they’ll love it, even if might think that your didj playing is not so crash hot yet – remember your ear is at the wrong end of the didj and what comes out the bottom always sounds better).

Anyway we ask you to please participate in the next Worldwide Didgeridoo Meditation on the 21 December 2012 at your local sunset time and become part of the biggest didgeridoo circle yet.

If  you are not yet registered, please become part of this truly global didj circle, thanks. You can also use the same link to change your details or de-register (by changing to non-regular supporter)

There are already over seven hundred locations all over the world who have registered and you can check out a map of the world showing where they all are. You can zoom into the map and contact any participant in your area, using the opportunity to meet some local didj players. We hope this map will help friends of the didj to meet and share their passion, so please add yourself to the map

It is so cool that there are more and more yellow and red dots in more remote areas like Russia and Africa, which makes our didj wave so much stronger and helps us to cover almost all time-zones.

A big THANKS to all of you who participated in the last Worldwide Didgeridoo meditation on 21 September 2012. Over a thousand people participated in over 60 different countries, covering most time zones! You can check out the world map of that event showing all the places where people did participate. It looks really cool to see all those coloured dots around the globe and gives a sense of how strong a wave we actually sent around the globe!

THANKS again for everyone who did their bid to make it happen! And the feedback we got from people is that it is a very nice experience, very relaxing and yet empowering, the didj really switches the mind off and gets us into a different, much more centred state.

So if you have never participated, please give it a go, you’ll love it! Become part of this growing global event by participating at your local sunset time on 21 December 2012.

Simply play your didj for 45 minutes (and this does not have to be continuous) when the sun is setting and then sit in silence for 15 minutes. If you cannot play didj, simply listen to some didj music during the first part or play another instrument.

Please meditate on growing the global awareness of how precious this planet is and the importance of taking care of the land, the most important message us westerners can learn from Aboriginal people.

For more information about the event, please see Worldwide Solstice and Equinox Didgeridoo Meditations.

Last not least, please feel free to forward this email to anyone who might be interested to become part of this growing worldwide didgeridoo event.

The more the merrier 🙂

Keep on Didjing…
